I’m not sure this blog is really necessary so I might close it/delete it soon, just letting you know
Shoney’s music video is out now! You guys can go watch it at the Moshi TV Studios if you’re a member!
Looks like we’re finaly getting another little moshling music video, for Shoney! We’ve already heard the song from Shoney in the Moshi Movie soundtrack, so seeing a video for it is cool.
I’m still pulling for more full-length music videos, but this should tide us over a little. (also I’m liking the look of that scrambled up photo)
Ok, everyone, the change at Moshi Monsters is H U G E!
Those kids figured out getting yourself a Katsuma account (don’t colour them) will give you access to the Food Factory.
When you begin your new account, you can only enter your zoo. Buster is there teaching you to catch Moshlings and gives you Mr. Snoodle. Back inside, Marcel comes along talking about how you are hungry.
The Food Factory is where you make pizza. It is, I can hardly describe it. There is also something Cocoloco coming up soon.
You feed your moshling the pizza and friendship grows between you.
I AM UNABLE
THIS IS A MAJOR CHANGE
what! woah! that’s crazy! dang you guys figure out stuff in the most roundabout ways. That seems so cool, I hope we’ll get the same kind of tutorial with older accounts!
waht the dang heck
Well, that’s new!!! (my feelings as well)
"Jess King, the in–house editor of Poppet magazine, said, “There is nothing currently in the market that aims to bring the tech industry to life for this age group. Mind Candy has education at the heart of its company values and we felt that there was a gap in the market when it came to educating young girls about the tech world; how to get involved, what jobs are available, but mostly how cool and creative it is.”"
The Poppet Mag is looking really awesome, wow!
New Moshi official channel trailer video. I really like how “& Roary Scrawl!” is one of the exciting perks of the channel
Hey! So Tumblr sent me an email the other day *Fanfare* “Hurray! you’re another year older!” Gah!! I thought, apart from the odd instagram I haven’t even bothered to etch down in binary stone what I’ve been up to during that time! So here’s a small update.
The biggest thing that happened in 2013 was… I worked on my first movie!! Moshi Monsters: The Movie in fact. I had an amazing time working on it, especially because I was able to work along side the team at the Mind Candy office. Anyways it was a pretty small operation, in the beginning there wasn’t even a plan to bring it to the cinemas, and with only 10 months of solid production and a handful of in-house artists even the thought of being able to watch it in my home town with my mum and my mates on the big screen was pie in the sky. But somehow, our silver tongued producers pushed for it and by Christmas that’s exactly what I was doing. Mum proudly crowed to any child in ear shot that her daughter drew the characters on their Moshi popcorn boxes which was met with an emphatic chorus of shrugs and blank stares from the little blighters. She also tried to eagerly record my name on the credits, then realised long after it scrolled past that she had her finger covering the lens, good work mum!
Anyways, I dunno if i’m allowed to show any of the concept art but i’m confident I can share this small selection of the work I did and also let you know about the other talented artists who worked or had some hand in it, here’s their links! You should check them out, they’re great!
